duomo 2025OPA Europe members will be meeting in London on March 19-20 to discuss “Subscription Strategies for Digital Publishers.”

Through member presentations and debate this meeting will explore subscription strategies for digital publishers, focusing on how publishers are evolving their product and pricing models, improving conversion and retention through onsite marketing, personalization, and customer service, and deploying the tools, teams, and KPIs needed to drive growth. It will also examine how subscription audiences influence advertising approaches and how distribution strategies across major platforms are shifting. Members will also discuss publishers’ key subscription challenges for 2026 and the policies being put in place to address them.

Mr. Gié has been fulfilling his role in an interim capacity since the departure of Jean-Christophe Potocki in the spring of 2020. On behalf of the association, Mr. Gié extends his sincere thanks to Mr. Potocki, who served as President from 2014-2020, and under whose leadership the association grew in membership and impact. The association also wishes to thank outgoing Vice Presidents Claudio Giua of GEDI Gruppo Editoriale, and Noemí Ramirez of Prisa, and General Secretary Ana Pascual Fernandez of Unidad Editorial.
